Rescue FAQs

Humane Society of Jackson County (ARF) has served the community since 1978. We run monthly spay/ neuter trips, transport animals north, and rescue from shelters. We also help owners to foster or keep their pets by facilitating spay and neuter, vet checks, and other services.

Additional adoption info

$70 adoption fee unless otherwise specified. Adopters must fill out a questionnaire or be interviewed to insure pet compatibility. Foster parent reserves the right to ask for a home visit. All adopters fill out our standard contract.
