Pound Animals Worth Saving (P.A.W.S.) fur the Cause

Most of the P.A.W.S. team are, or were, Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (pound) volunteers and we are also a rescue group. While volunteering at the pound we saw first-hand how these dogs really need to get out of there and find forever loving homes. As of November 2012 we are 100% foster-based; we no longer have to place dogs in boarding. However, larger breeds are harder to place so we are ALWAYS looking for new foster homes for our large dogs! Once our dogs are settled into their foster homes we market, market, market, and we hold events across the East Valley almost every week. We serve all cities in Maricopa County, Arizona. We rescue dogs and puppies from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (the pound) and find them their forever loving home. We also rescue cats and kittens from the streets.
