Areas Burke County Friends for Animals serves

The adoption fees vary for each individual animal. The fee covers spay or neutering, vaccines, worming, heart worm tests/treatments and feline leukemia test/treatments.

Burke County Friends for Animals's adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Ask for the qualities you have in mind for your pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

Spend some time getting to know a pet, and ask questions about the pet.

3.

Pay Fee

We will have you fill out our questionnaire then the application and take payment.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Before you leave let us take your first picture with your new family member.

About Burke County Friends for Animals

We are a no kill shelter in Western NC. We obtain all our animals from owner surrenders. Once an animal is at our shelter they are here until they are adopted.
