Shelter FAQs
We are a no kill shelter in Western NC. We obtain all our animals from owner surrenders. Once an animal is at our shelter they are here until they are adopted.
The adoption fees vary for each individual animal. The fee covers spay or neutering, vaccines, worming, heart worm tests/treatments and feline leukemia tests.
Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetAsk for the qualities you have in mind for your pet.
- Meet the PetSpend some time getting to know a pet, and ask questions about the pet.
- Pay FeeWe will have you fill out our questionnaire then the application and take payment.
- Take the Pet HomeBefore you leave let us take your first picture with your new family member.
