Rescue FAQs

Who is DINO Rescue? – Dogs In Need Organization (DINO) is a non-profit animal welfare organization… located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Composed of a group of innovative dog minded people, DINO is committed to the philosophy of people helping animals and animals helping people. What we do - DINO Rescue works to rescue dogs in need, to provide shelter and care and to place them into loving homes. We specialize in matching humans with dogs. Our goal is to match people and dogs in unions that suite family, lifestyles, and hearts. Where our dogs come from - Our dogs come from everywhere, including high kill shelters. Dogs in need are our focus. Mission Statement – DINO’s Animal Rescue Society will provide a safe-haven for dogs (and other animals) that have been abused, abandoned and neglected. By methods of rehabilitation, we will help them find their canine-selves, a balanced state of mind, and the ability to adapt well to their new home. DINO’s Animal Rescue Society will offer the human breed a place to learn communication, care and compassion for and from the animals that reside there. Their education will be instrumental in "Breaking the Chains of Abuse".
