Shelter FAQs

PAWS is people helping animals. We are the kind of people who delight in the company of an animal friend, who are awed by a majestic eagle in flight. Like you, we understand that animals enrich our lives. We also know they cannot speak for themselves and need protection. That is why PAWS brings together people like you to ensure animals are respected, safe and have a voice. Our Mission: PAWS is a champion for animals—rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people. We operate a shelter for cats and dogs and a wildlife rehabilitation center, and offer a comprehensive education program.
The greater Seattle, WA area. You need to be able to visit one of our two locations in person. We do not ship animals.
