Rescue FAQs

Soft Landings Road To Rescue is a volunteer based rescue located in Lebanon CT serving all of CT, eastern NY state and northern NJ and New England. We are an all volunteer based rescue. In four years Soft Landings Road To Rescue has found loving homes for over 500 dogs. We have been involved in rescue for over twenty five years. It is our focus to save dogs from being euthanized in high kill shelters and place them in loving homes. Our rescue saves dogs from high kill shelters and places him/her in a loving foster home. While in foster care, our dogs receive love, care and are house trained, crate trained, leash trained and learn to get along well with other dogs, cats, adults and children. When we place our dog for adoption we are very familiar with the dog and know his/her disposition and health. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on all immunizations, have been heart worm tested, on heart worm prevention, wormed and on flea prevention and micro chipped. Before adoption all our dogs receive a health examination with our veterinarian. You can contact us at either 864-933-2272 or 860-228-4561. Please visit our website www.softlandingsrescue.com and our face book page Soft Landings Road To Rescue Family.
