Rescue FAQs

P.A.W.S is a team of doctors, vet staff, and volunteers devoted to rescuing deserted cats and dogs with the final aspiration of placing them in loving, everlasting homes. We are based out of Johnson County but have and will help surrounding counties if we can. We know that every animal deserves a chance. We do not reject animals based on age, health, or breed. We working with Franklin Animal Clinic devote every resource available to us, from the physical, emotional, and behavioral rehabilitation of each animal in order to give them a second chance to the life they deserve.

Additional adoption info

Please contact us at indypawsrescue@gmail.com with your inquiry of a specific animal or what you may be looking for. We will send you an application, once approved we will set up a meet & greet. If all goes well during that meeting we will send the animal home for a sleep over trial to make sure your environment is a good fit for the animal and the animal a good fit for you. If all goes well with the sleep over trial (usually lasting a week or so) We will finalize the adoption with our adoption agreement paperwork :)
