Rescue FAQs
Founded in 2001, Compassion without Borders provides a brighter future to animals in need on both sides of the border. We rescue, rehabilitate and transport animals from overpopulated areas to places where they are wanted. We provide veterinary care, which includes spay/neuter for all rescued animals and free or low cost care through our community clinics in underserved areas. And we facilitate adoption placement through our California shelter partners or at our ‘Muttopia’ facility in Santa Rosa, CA.

If you’re interested in meeting dogs for adoption consideration, please fill out the online application on our website and our adoption counselor will contact you within 24-48 hours.
Currently, our dogs can only be seen by appointment only. We look forward to having you visit Muttopia and meeting our rescue dogs.
