The Cookeville-Putnam County Animal Shelter (CPCAS) Adoption Outreach seeks to place all adoptable animals in loving, lifetime homes. The care and safekeeping of our area’s dogs, cats, bunnies and guinea pigs, ferrets and other domesticated animals is our first priority. CPCAS does not turn any Putnam County animal away. We welcome both local and out-of-area adopters. If you are interested in a specific animals, please call ahead to check availability. Special arrangements may be required for out-of-area adopters so please call ahead to discuss. Adopters are welcome to bring their dogs along to see if everyone gets along prior to adoption.
