Rescue FAQs

Independent rescue. I have been working with a shelter in NC that has a high surrender and kill rate. What I do is pull from shelter, provide medical care if needed, and lots of love. I do this because I care deeply and believe that there is a home for every pet. Unfortunately, once a dog's time is up, it is up. My goal is to save lives and place dogs in good homes.
Buffalo/Rochester/Niagara Falls. Will service other near by cities.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application including vet, employment, and housing reference is required. Home visits are required prior to adoption. The adoption fee for most dogs is $200.00, which includes spay/neuter and vaccinations. Cat adoption fees are negotiable.
Donations are greatly appreciated. melanie4rescue@paypal.com Adoption fees for dogs range between $150-$250 Dogs will always be neutered/spayed at UTD with all vaccinations.Dogs are pulled from high kill shelter in NC, so transportation is an added expense.
