Holly's Haven Pet Rescue

A little about me and the history behind the desire to start a rescue...... I am a hospice RN, have two children, 4 of my own fur dogs, 4 fur cats!! I also have the best, supportive, animal-loving fiance known to woman :) My dream now, and growing up, was to start an animal rescue. I started my journey into rescue by fostering short and long term for the local shelter and numerous rescues. Throughout this time, seeing numerous abused, forgotten, neglected animals made me think twice about humans. BUT with rescue work, I have met so many wonderful, sweet, generous angels along the way. They took their own time and patience to educate, and to help mold me to be successful in saving these furkids! I am forever grateful to all of them! There is nothing on Earth as innocent as children and animals. They do not judge, they love UNCONDITIONALLY, and will be there for you throughout anything. Somehow, with all these qualities, many find themselves in a small cell at a shelter on death row, forgotten about. That's where we come in........ We will strive to help as many as we can. Whether pulling from the shelter, preventing them going to the shelter, helping an abused or neglected animal, helping a family retain their animal, and advocating for the voiceless, we're there. This is where YOU come in: In order to continue saving lives, helping, educating.....we need support from the community! Fosters are LIFE SAVERS! Loving foster homes help give an animal the best chance at a forever home. They learn what true love and happiness is about with a supporting, loving family :) If you have ever wanted to foster, volunteer, transport.....WE WOULD LOVE YOU TO JOIN US!
