Rescue FAQs

QBSDR is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to saving corgis, and corgi mixes from California's high kill shelters and those needing to be rehomed. It is QBSDR's belief that a companion animal is a member of the family, and deserves love and care for the entirety of his/her life. Corgis are incredibly intelligent, active, loyal dogs that require A LOT of exercise because they are working dogs. Our goal is to find homes with lifestyles that would best match the needs of each dog. Our adoption process requires an application, interview, home check, and adoption contract before placing any animal. Each animal is examined by our veterinarian, fully vetted so they are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before they are available for adoption. We place great emphasis on rehabilitation before placing them in a loving, safe, and secure "furever" home. "Saving low-riders, one bark at a time."
Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County. Other areas are considered, depending on availability of transports and volunteers.

Additional adoption info

We ask for a minimum adoption donation of $300 per dog. This contribution helps us recover the cost of veterinary care, food, crates, and other necessities.

Adoption application, home check, and contract required.

To contribute to the care of our animals or to donate any items to our dogs in need, you may send to: 4821 Lankershim Blvd F372 North Hollywood, Ca 91601 For checks and money orders, please make them payable to Queen's Best Stumpy Dog Rescue.
