The Ansonia Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter that tries it's hardest to find adoptable dogs and cats their special place in the world.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat an appointment you will need to contact the shelter to schedule an appointment. Adoption fees are $5.00 for a spayed or neutered dog or cat. $50.00 for a dog or cat that is NOT spayed or neutered.

All family members and pets are required to meet the dog or cat before it is adopted.

Vet reference and application will be required prior to adoption.
