Additional adoption info
Adoption Step by Step:
1. Review our adoptable animals:
Adoptable Canines / Adoptable Felines
2. Please make sure that you are fully aware and capable of providing the level of care to the animal you are interested in adopting.
3. Complete the appropriate online adoption form found by clicking on one of the following links: (Please be prepared to provide veterinary and personal references as well as information about your home, family, pets and work. This information helps us to determine if the applicant and animal are a possible match)
http://ontariorescue.wix.com/renewedlife#!dogpuppy/ci3c
http://ontariorescue.wix.com/renewedlife#!catkitten/c1cc2
4. We will review your application and will likely have more questions for you and will contact you to go over your application. At this time we will also be in contact with your references.
5. If your application is approved, we will make arrangements for you, your family (partner, roommates, children, pets) and the rescue animal to have a meet and great. This meet and great will allow you to get a feel for the animal's personality and decide if you with to proceed with the adoption.
6. After you have had an opportunity to have a meet and greet if you still feel that the adoption should proceed and we agree, the adoption will be finalized and you can take your new addition home to love forever!
7. If we feel or you decide that the animal is not the right fit for you and your family that does not mean that you cannot apply for another animal. It simply means that, that particular animal wasn't the "one".
