We provide refuge and rehabilitation for abandoned and abused animals until they are adopted.
We are primarily located in Manatee County, but we serve and adopt in surrounding counties as well.

Additional adoption info
Our application can be found at the bottom of the "Adopt" page on the HPC website. All animals are examined (with blood work and any other testing needed), altered, and vaccinated prior to adoption. The adoption fee is $100 for adult dogs, $50 for senior dogs, and $50-75 for cats. We are a volunteer-based sanctuary, so it may take a day or two to process your application.
