Additional adoption info
We ask people fill out an adoption application, and we interview applicants. Our goal is to ensure a good fit between cat and humans. Once we have reviewed the application, we require you to complete an adoption contract.
We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of race, religion, politics, gender, or sexual orientation, but we reserve the right to refuse an adoption based on information we gain during the application process. We try very hard to match our cats' needs and requirements with applicants' lifestyles and circumstances. Our goal is to make every adoption a happy and lasting one!
Our adoption fees cover vet care for emergencies and medical issues in addition to routine care. Before adoption, all animals receive the following care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for FVCRP & rabies, test for felv/fiv, microchip, and treatment for fleas/parasites.
Adoption fees are as follows: 1) senior cats $95, 2) cats 1-7 $125, and 3) under one year $150. We do not intend to imply that senior cats are less valuable; rather, this fee schedule reflects the fact that senior cats tend to come to us already spayed and neutered.
