Rescue FAQs
Located in Raleigh, NC I rescue on my own with only help through donations as most rescues. I have rescued, fostered and re-homed several fur babies. At the present I have 10 rescued/foster Dachshunds, all but 2 are seniors and or medical need at my home. I also have 4 mix big dog
rescue/fosters. I myself have 4 Dachshunds, so that is 18 furbabies. It takes a lot to keep them all vetted, fed, treats, toys, beds and on preventives. I want them to have the same things and have if they had forever homes until they do find theirs. I do have great support group on Facebook for the Dachshunds.
I rescue from rural local shelters as well as out of state. My focus is on medical need rescues and seniors, the ones some rescues turn their backs
to.
