Rescue FAQs
Starry Skies Equine Rescue and Sanctuary is a public non profit 501(c)(3). Our mission is to divert equines from the slaughter pipeline, provide rehabbing, training and placement for appropriate equines. We are dedicated to providing end of life care and services for those equines not suitable for private homes.
We are located in Ann Arbor MI but adopt all over the US.

The adoption application is on our regular website. It can be emailed or mailed through regular mail. After approval we make an appointment for you to meet the horses and pick out your horse
