Adoption steps

  1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.
  2. Submit Application
    1. Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.
  3. Approve Application
    1. Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!
