Rescue FAQs

We are an all volunteer group that works with the city of Parowan, UT. We have a small shelter and we are working to make improvements to it from monies we have raised with fund raisers. We feed, water, and clean up and give lots of attention to the dogs twice daily. We would like to spay/neuter the dogs before they are adopted but funds have not allowed us to do this. We are looking for a way to get vouchers for this. One volunteer does give shots to the dogs. When we get a dog we try to find the owner and also will try to find dogs that are lost.
We serve the town of Parowan, UT. We are an all volunteer group that works under the city. We have a small shelter and depend on donations of food and money. We work very hard to care for our dogs until they good to a new home or a rescue in a more populated area.

Additional adoption info

We charge $40 for adoption. We interview the adopter, make sure they are a good candidate for the dog, ask if they have a fenced in yard. We also allow the a 2 week trial to make sure the dog fits into their family. If it doesn't we take the dog back.
