Shelter FAQs

The Humane Society of Warren County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to abandoned, abused, homeless and neglected animals in our Warren County, VA. We are an open admission shelter and do not turn away any animal in need from within our county. We work very hard to find all the animals in our care wonderful homes.
Front Royal, Virgina and all surrounding counties. We will also work with out of area adopters.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. We do our best to review applications within 24 hours. You will be notified when your application has been approved. Our adoption fees are $85 for cats and $140 for dogs. All of our animals will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX/ Fiv-Felv tested and UTD on all age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption.
