Rescue FAQs

We, at Delaney's Dog, are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of dogs in danger whether it be from the city and county shelters, the streets, or from within the communities. The dog's safety and well-being is our number one priority and concern. In an effort to ensure this premise we rescue, rehabilitate, caregive (provide rescues with a home environment via foster), and thoroughly screen adoption applicants for the proper placement of each rescued dog into the "right" furever home. We strongly believe that there is a right dog for every person and a "right" person for every dog. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, micro chipped, fully vaccinated and receive all appropriate/needed veterinary care and treatment. All rescued dogs are placed into nurturing, loving and screened foster homes while they await placement into their permanent homes. We assist dogs in danger without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Our requirement is need, not breed. This charity exists solely for the benefit of rescued dogs. By members volunteering their efforts and fosters volunteering their home and love for rescue dogs, Delaney's Dog is able to keep administrative costs low, and in turn be able to give more to dogs in need. Fosters are always urgently needed. Please email DelaneysDog@gmail.com for a foster application today! We and the pups appreciate it!
Delaney's Dog Rescue and Adoption is a non-profit, no kill, volunteer and foster based all breed dog rescue serving (but not limited to) the Los Angeles and Southern California areas.
