We are a small rescue in Northern Virginia serving the Washington DC tri-state area. Our adoptable pets come from high kill shelter from all over the United States, Especially the southern portion of the US.

Potential adopters will be asked to fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire. Next, one of our adoption coordinators will call to speak with the potential adopter, and discuss next steps. A brief home visit is the next step before the potential adopters will be offered the opportunity to adopt. Upon adoption the adopter will be asked to sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee, which covers the cost of pulling the animal from the shelter, transportation, vaccines, and veterinary care. the adoption fee ranges from $275. to $350. depending on age, and if they need to have spay/neuter.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
