Rescue FAQs

We are a small rescue group, we rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Great Pyrenees given up for adoption or rescued from local shelters, the focus of which is to ultimately place these dogs into loving homes as family pets in the Western Pennsylvania; GPCWP rescue representatives will work cohesively in an effort to support purebred Great Pyrenees dogs, or those believed to be purebred Great Pyrenees, believed to be abandoned, surrendered or otherwise in need of removal from a dangerous environment.

Additional adoption info

If interested in one of our rescues, you will need to fill out our adoption survey. To insure a safe environment for our dogs, we do home and yard checks. Great Pyrenees need a securely fenced in yard for safe play and exercise. Our adoption fee is contingent on the dogs vetting cost.
