IVAR is a local volunteer group, not a government-run or funded agency. We try our best to help as many animals as possible, but we are limited by volunteer manpower and a lack of steady funding. With that being said, we may not be able to pick up every stray animal that is called in. We do our best to prioritize situations and provide a safe haven for the animals as soon as possible. The adoption fee for adopting a dog at IVAR is $225 for dogs 6 & under and $125 for seniors. This fee includes Spay/Neuter, Parvo Distemper, Rabies, Heartworm Test, & Micro Chip. After completed our adoption application online or at the shelter you will be contacted. Cat adoption fee varies.
