A BIT ABOUT US Turning Passion Into Action ASTRO Foundation was founded in 2012 by a group of animal advocates in Oakdale, CA. The organization was formed to rescue as many homeless animals as possible and ultimately build a modern adoption center for the community. In Summer of 2021 we will be opening an adoption center at 611 East E St. in downtown Oakdale, CA. To learn more, visit astrofoundation.org ASTRO Foundation also has partnered with Petco which provides us with cat cages at their facility at 2341 Claribel Road, Riverbank, CA.
