Rescue FAQs

BFF Dog Rescue NJ, Inc. Is an all volunteer, no-kill, all breed dog rescue Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization. We have no paid employees. We depend on the financial kindness of animal lovers to continue our work in saving the lives of the dogs we rescue. Our organization is guided by these core values: compassion, devotion, commitment and dedication for the quality of life for all of our rescues. Another one of our goals is to increase awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue. We promote responsible pet ownership and animal care.
We serve Brick, NJ and the surrounding areas in Ocean County.

Additional adoption info

We are a 501C3 rescue. If you are interested in our dogs, please email us at bffdogrescuenj@gmail.com for an adoption application. We will review all applications and get back to you as soon as possible. We require a veterinarian and reference check. We are a volunteer-based rescue so it might take 2-3 days for the review process. Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots that the dog is old enough to receive, fecal check, spay/neuter, and any other fees required when we rescue. The adoption fee for puppies are $350, adult dogs are $300 and older/senior dogs fees are evaluated on a individual basis.
