Rescue FAQs

We are a small family-based rescue. We run the rescue out of our home. We try to socialize the cats in-house with a lot of people, children, cats and dogs of all sizes. We feel this gives them the best chances of finding a new home.
We serve Temple and some surrounding counties. We help communities work with feral cat colonies in their area. We rehabilitate/rehome as many cats/kittens as possible and spay/neuter/release others that may not adjust to indoor life. We also serve as a sanctuary for injured or unadoptable cats that can't be released back to their environment. There is never a charge for our services other than adoption fees.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. If application is approved then a phone interview is set up for a meet and greet day.
  2. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. Find a cat that works with your personality, set up 2nd visit make sure there is a connection between you/cat. Time to make your home ready.
  3. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Pay adoption fees at this time and take new pet home in a carrier.

Additional adoption info

We have an application that we will send you via e-mail. Once we receive that we will call you for a phone interview. We also have a contract that you must sign. We reserve the right to do a home inspection before and after the adoption. Our adoption fees are $100/ kitten or $150 for a pair. Indoor only household, $50 for cats 1 year or older. We prefer that our fur friends go to indoor-only homes. Some adoptions may have other needs so we will screen them on a case by case basis. Barn cats are available from time to time with a fee of $25 with a minimum of 2. Why 2? We feel that cats are communal and moving them as a family will help them adjust to their new environment better.
