Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- Walk-In Adoption Hours:
7700 E Spring St, Long Beach, CA 90815
10 am - 4:30 pm (Wed - Fri)
10 am - 3 pm (Sat and Sun)
- Submit Application
- Complete an application in-person at the shelter.
- Meet the Pet
- Meet with an Adoption Counselor to discuss your application and review information on the pet(s) you would like to meet.
- Take the Pet Home
- All pets at the shelter beyond their stray holding period can go home with you the same day.
