Rescue FAQs

beCAUSE 4 PAWS is a dog and cat rescue. All of our animals are in foster homes. This helps them adjust to life within a family setting, as well as providing them with the solid beginnings of socialization and training.
beCAUSE 4 PAWS is located in Connecticut. We adopt to all of Connecticut, as well as surrounding states. All foster homes, however, need to be in Connecticut.

To begin the adoption process, submit an application on our website at www.because4paws.org Once you've submitted an application, be on the lookout for an application from our adoption coordinator requesting additional information to help us process your application. All of our animals are in foster homes. Meet and greets are scheduled with approved adopters.
