Rescue FAQs
beCAUSE 4 PAWS is a dog and cat rescue. All of our animals are in foster homes. This helps them adjust to life within a family setting, as well as providing them with the solid beginnings of socialization and training.
beCAUSE 4 PAWS is located in Connecticut. We adopt to all of Connecticut, as well as surrounding states. All foster homes, however, need to be in Connecticut.
Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationPlease submit an application on our website at www.because4paws.org
- Home CheckIn lieu of a home visit, please email photos of your home, both inside and the backyard where a new dog/cat would spend most of his/her time
- Meet the PetWe will schedule a meet and greet for your family at our facility. All family members, including other dogs, will come to meet your new pet.
