Rescue FAQs

We are a volunteer/foster based rescue that was started over 20 years ago. We pull from our local shelters, and helped start and continue to fund a local spay and neuter program. We welcome new volunteers to help with adoptions, foster, transport, events, photo's, etc.
Pup & Cat Co. is a non-profit humane society/foster home organization. We are a no-kill organization, which means we do not euthanize animals for space or financial reasons, so we ensure that every adoptable animal finds a permanent home. We have been rescuing dogs and cats for over 20 years in a number of northeast Georgia counties including Barrow, Jackson, Hall, Madison, Oglethorpe, Oconee, Clarke and Gwinnett.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption application and conduct home visits and vet checks before approving a family for one of our pets. The adoption fee is $300 and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip.
