Rescue FAQs

Central Aussie Rescue & Support is an all-foster rescue network serving Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, and surrounding states. We are a team of volunteers who love the breed and strive to share that love through education and support. While our rescue itself may be new, the core team has been together for years, fostering and volunteering for various rescue groups before branching off into their own nonprofit. Between them, the directors have over 50 years of rescue experience.

Additional adoption info

All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and evaluated before being listed for adoptions. All interested adopters must fill out an application either online or in person. Volunteers will then check references and interview perspective families to ensure they are the correct match for our companions. An adoption donation based on the age of the dog is required with all adoptions.
