Rescue FAQs
We are a 501(c)3 non profit animal foster organization in Venango County, Pennsylvania (Franklin). We adopt dogs and cats in northwest Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. We also offer low cost spay neuter services to the public.
We are located in Franklin, Pennsylvania in Venango County. We serve all of northwest Pennsylvania - Meadville, Pittsburgh, Erie, Oil City, Tionesta, Clarion areas.
Additional adoption info
Our adoption process starts with an application, which is reviewed by our review board. We require personal references, vet references, and a home visit to adopt. Our adoption fee for cats is $50 and dogs are $200. All animals are vaccinated, vet examined, dewormed, tested for communicable diseases, and altered. NO animal ever leaves our program before it is adopted; we practice pediatric spays and neuters on kittens 2 lbs and more, and puppies 3 lbs and more.
