We are an Animal Control Department who promotes responsible pet ownership, prevents the spread of animal borne diseases, protects the health and safety of the public by capturing dangerous and stray animals, and protects animals and promotes their humane treatment. Further, we provide temporary shelter for healthy, non-aggressive animals while promoting pet adoptions throughout our community and local rescue organizations. We continuously work to educate the public through educational presentations, material, and Social Media. All activities shall be in compliance with Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.

Additional adoption info

We charge an Adoption Fee of $23, which includes the pet to be microchipped and registration of the chip. All adopters must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid ID. An Adoption Agreement is completed and signed by both the adopter and a representative from our shelter. The Adoption Agreement includes a Sterilization Contract each adopter agrees to. If sterilization requirements are not met per the Sterilization Contract, each adopter will be held responsible
