ALIVE Rescue Memphis - Nashville Chapter

ALIVE Rescue Memphis is a branch of ALIVE Rescue, a very successful foster based rescue that has been going strong in Chicago for over 12 years. Besides adopting out homeless animals, we also do reach out days at children's hospitals and senior living programs. Providing pet owners with all the tools they need is also very important to us. We plan to do community pet days, like our branch in Chicago, and supply vaccines and microchip to low income pet owners. Our desire is to keep pets in homes, and out of the shelters, Our mission statement is ALIVE Rescue Memphis is an animal rescue that protects the lives and the rights of animals. We believe every animal has the right to a well-balanced, socialized and fulfilled life. We take on the responsibility to save, rehabilitate and place abandoned, abused and stray animals. We believe strongly in education, and providing pet owners with the tools they need to keep their animals happy and healthy pets. ALIVE Rescue Memphis promotes sustainable living & cruelty free living by building awareness, appreciation and respect for all animals and the environment within our communities.

Welcome to ALIVE Rescue Memphis-Nashville Chapter! All of our dogs are located in Memphis, TN but we are fortunate enough to have representatives in Nashville that help us with our adoption process. Part of our mission is to find the best homes possible for each of our dogs, which sometimes means traveling to a home away from the mid south. As long as it's the perfect home and the perfect fit for the animal in need of a forever family. We work mostly with high kill shelters in addition to pulling dogs from the streets of Memphis, where they then live in loving foster homes until they are adopted. The stray problem in the mid-south is a very big issue, and we do our best to save as many dogs as we can and place them in loving forever homes.
