Angels for Animals Tucson

Angels for Animals Tucson is a small, grassroots dog rescue and community outreach organization founded in December of 2009. Prompting our efforts was the immediate need to rescue and report abandoned, abused, and deceased dogs in the Summit area (colloquially known as Dogpatch). Since our formation, we have helped over 100 animals find better lives in forever homes. Today we continue to not only assist animals in need, but also provide education to the residents of Summit and the larger Tucson community. We provide information and/or access to low or no-cost spay and neuter programs, vaccinations, and medical procedures. Through our efforts we hope to stop the cycle of unwanted animal pregnancy, abuse, neglect, sickness, and death that has taken place in this area for generations of dogs and humans alike.
