The majority of our animals are located in foster homes in and around Salisbury, NC but we will transport to any of the other locations for an approved adopter.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application, phone or face-to-face interview, reference checks and home visit required. Contract at the time of adoption. All puppies and adult dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate core vaccines,heartworm tested, wormed and microchipped prior to adoption. 100% of all fees go back into the rescue to rescue and vet additional dogs.

We pull urgent dogs off of death row, vet them and then look for adopters for these dogs. We predominantly pull from high kill shelters in North Carolina. The majority of our dogs are in foster homes in Central and Western North Carolina.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
