Rescue FAQs
We felt that there was a need for a full service foster program in our area and the Alliance to Spay or Neuter All Pets came to be. Later, the name was changed to The Humane Society of West Texas. We not only save animals lives and give them homes until a forever home is found, we also educate the public on issues pertaining to animal welfare and cruelty.
We are a foster based rescue that serves Lubbock, TX and the surrounding area. We rescue and adopt out over 1000 dogs and cats each year.
Additional adoption info
There is an adoption application to fill out along with a fee of $125. per animal to adopt one of our animals.
