We require an application, references, vet check, phone interview, home visit and a follow up visit. We also require an adoption donation. Adopters need to travel with all family members to meet potential dogs. We do NOT transport dogs to adoptive families.
We DO take the dog back if the adopter becomes unable to care for the dog.

We also accept dogs through Owner Surrender process, as space permits, when the owner is no longer able to care for the best interest of the dog. We provide necessary veterinary care while they are waiting to find their permanent home. We find adoptive homes through an adoption process which includes vet checks and home visits. We work to educate and promote the importance of spaying/neutering animals.
