Rescue FAQs

Helping Hands for Animals is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that was established to address the pet over population problem. We highly promote spaying/neutering in the community by offering low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public. We are dedicated to placing unwanted and special needs animals into safe, permanent loving homes.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is geared towards making the best possible connection between the pet and his new family. Our adoption application requires both veterinarian and personal references. We have an adoption contract stating, among other things, that all cats are to be indoors only. Adoption fees range from $50. to $75. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV, de-wormed and treated for fleas.
