At the time of adoption, all CARE pets are healthy, spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative (cats only), heartworm test negative (or undergoing heartworm treatment if stated), and current on heartworm & flea prevention. The adoption application is available on our website at www.careintallahassee.org. While there is no application fee, a minimum adoption donation is required for each pet (amount varies with severity of injuries treated while in CARE, please see the website for details).
