Rescue FAQs

Cat Tails Rescue is a no-kill shelter saving stray or abandoned cats and kittens from living on the street and adopting them to loving homes. Cat Tails Rescue serves the North End of Winnipeg where the need is greatest. We provide temporary interim housing, vet assessment and shelter care and socialization for stray or abandoned felines until they are adopted. We are the only shelter located in the North End of Winnipeg. We also take in feral cats and kittens to socialize them for adoption, as time and space permits.

Additional adoption info

ADOPTION FEES:
Include a vet check, testing for FIV/leukemia, first shot for kittens or annual shot for cats, de-worming, spay or neuter (by six months of age) and a tattoo.
Kittens: 2–6 months $120
6 months to 1 year: $110
1 year to 5 years: $100
5 years & older: $ 75
Long-term cats: $ 50
