Shelter FAQs

We are a small municipal shelter that houses stray dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals until they are adopted or placed with another reputable shelter. Our community banded together and raised funds to build a beautiful new facility to house the animals. We have one full time Animal Control Officer and one part time Animal Control Officer.
We serve the town of Oxford's stray animals.

Additional adoption info

We require potential adopters to fill out an application and an adoption form. There are fee's and veterinary expenses charged to adopters.
