Rescue FAQs

C.P.R. was founded with the desire to provide placement services for the increasing number of pets abandoned at county shelters and those needing re-homing in the So. Oregon area. We are open to taking in animals from outside Oregon as room is available, and based on a case by case basis. The founders of Critical Pet Rescue each came to the group with their own personal skills as related to the rescue and re-homing of displaced pets. Some with years of experience in rescuing and re-homing pets, most with experience in fostering at need animals. Some with a history in the animal shelter system. Above all, the founders came together as a group of individuals with the same goal of helping at-risk, in-need pets find their deserved chance at loving forever homes.
C.P.R. is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing placement services to displaced animals in the Southern Oregon area. We have been able to help some further from us when space allows. We will adopt to any area after a home visit and application are approved.

Additional adoption info

C.P.R. tries to keep our adoption fee the same across the board so it stays consistent. Though sometimes certain animals will need more services. We require a home check, application and if the pet is not neutered/spayed at adoption time a refundable deposit and agreement to do so is taken until proof of that service is shown.

You can donate from our website or with PayPal and mailing works too :) PO Box 5114...Grants Pass, OR 97527 We thank you very much for helping us rescue more animals!
