Catnip Casa Cat Refuge is in Austin, Texas. We serve Travis County. People within easy driving distance are welcome to apply. We don't ship pets or adopt in locations beyond our reach.

The first step is to contact us and arrange to meet the kitty you want to adopt.

If you decide to proceed, please fill out an application either while you are here or by email before your visit. Don’t worry, it’s short and simple!

Visit as many times as you want to get to know each other and ensure a good fit.

After the application is approved, we both sign a simple adoption agreement.

We also provide medical records and any other information you may need.

All of our animals go to their new home with a few familiar toys, bedding, and a sturdy travel crate.

Our adoption process includes follow-up support for the life of your new pet. A free pet proofing consult is also available.

The adoption fee is $45. Of course, additional donations are welcome.
