After Law school and working for European companies, travelling the world, I retired. When Katrina hit New Orleans,I decided I had to do what was closest to my heart, help animals in need. I became a full time volunteer at the local shelter and saw the need to create a non-profit, to help with vet care, supplies and fostering. (about 2000 animals are abandoned at Montgomery county shelter every month ). For 19 years, volunteers, fosters and friends have helped safe many lives and find good homes to animals that otherwise would have been dead today.

FMCTAS.org non-profit, was created in 2006 and received the 501(c)3 status early 2007. We have rescued dogs and cats from the streets of Montgomery county, Harris county and even south Houston area. We have pulled from the area shelters into foster care and found forever homes to thousands of animals in 19 years. FMCTAS fosters, vets, spay/neuter, socialize the animals & find forever homes.
