Rescue FAQs

We are a full service animal hospital in Steger, IL and also act as animal control for 2 townships. (Steger and South Chicago Heights) These animals come in as strays, abandoned, or neglected. If unclaimed by their owners, we do our best to work with other rescue groups as well as work hard to find perfect forever homes.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are $200 and include spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, heartworm and fecal testing (FIV/FeLV for cats) microchip with registration.
All members of the household need to be present for the meet and greet. If all goes well, an application can be filled out. The application will then be processed by the adoption committee.
