Rescue FAQs

We are a small rescue dedicated to encouraging the community to adopt its next Chow Chow from a shelter, checking area shelters for urgent euthanasia-bound Chow Chows that are labeled "Rescue Only", offering placement assistance for families who want to rehome their Chow Chows, spaying/neutering our Chow Chows, ensuring our Chows are up-to-date on vaccinations, socializing our Chow Chows in an indoor home environment, and placing Chow Chows with responsible "furever" homes.
We serve North Texas and surrounding areas.

Additional adoption info

Please complete our adoption form found on the "adoptable pet" page of our website. Expect us to call your current veterinarian and/or conduct a home visit to ensure our requirements for care can be met. Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, negative heart worm check, up-to-date vaccinations and microchip. Adoption fees range between $150 and $650 depending upon age and/or expenses necessary to rehabilitate the Chow Chow. Our final step is a contract in which you agree to treat the rescue as a family member, and if you cannot, return him/her to the rescue.
