The Edgar County Humane Association is a group of hardworking volunteers who strive to help find abandoned cats their forever homes. We rely on foster homes. Please consider adopting one of our cats! It helps us to make room to rescue more. (And there are always many more waiting for our help)

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationComplete the application with all information then submit it. It can take up to 2-3 days to get back with you, please be patient.
- Approve ApplicationThe ECHA will check out your vet and also your landlord to see if you can have a pet. We check it out thoroughly.
- Take the Pet HomeIf your application is approved, you can take your cat home.
